Hi. Ingrown toe nail or Onychocryptosis - essentially needs a special surgery ( lateral nail avulsion with partial nail matrix ablation ) so as to
1. Relieve the ingrowth
2. Remove part of the nail growing
3. Prevent recurrence
4. & also Treat existing infection.
Preventing recurrence of ingrown wil also thereby prevent pain and infection.
