If eye specialist and physician have not found any major underlying causes, it is very likely to be stress related or part of anxiety or depressive disorder which sometimes manifests in the form of predominant physical symptoms like headache, tiredness, lethargy or sleeplessness, loss of appetite and occasionally palpitations, sweating, shaking etc. She would benefit from counselling like cognitive behavior therapy including some medication.
