My daughter is 18 months old she is having recurring cough for the last 3 or 4 months every week it happens It starts with runny nose fever and ultimately once fever goes cough (khasi) happens. We have consulted 3 to 4 pediatrics They said it's climatic and gave some syrup that loosen up mucus. We consulted lung specialists She told us to give her inhaler asthalin 4 times a day and 100 mg twice a day but there is no improvement in cough. Some doctors gave antibiotics which showed improvement for a few days and the same runny nose came back again afterwards. With khasi my baby vomits out with sticky mucus Wht should we do pls help Some home rdies for my 18 month old

It may be due to extra kapha dosha from your breast feed milk . Change your diet pattern . Take easy digestables . Avoid heavy , oily and sweet food items . For baby - Give her jayaphal sidh ksheer 2 tsf for one week.

Avoid giving her milk, curd when she has any active infection. Cut down on Formula feeds and give banana powder, raagi etc to boost immunity. Medicines can be suggested only after proper assessment. Give palm jaggery instead of sugar
