Multiple Pregnancy
I recently got pregnant with twins with IVF, couple of weeks ago my babies were 8 weeks and they both had normal growth and size. I moved to abroad a week ago and I had a vaginal scan 2 back. The doctor here has said only one heart beat of the baby is clearly visible and the baby is 9 weeks, the other baby is 8 weeks and she is unable to view the heart beat or movement. Could this be a mistake or is it common? Is there a possibility that the scan might have not been clearly visible?I have my follow up scan again in 6 days

A heartbeat not being clearly seen on one twin at this stage can sometimes come down to positioning or image angle rather than the pregnancy itself, but it can also mean that twin isn't progressing, and only your follow-up scan can tell which.
