Dear friend, Treatment depends upon exact diagnosis. Locking of knee means its a meniscus tear. It can be seen best on MRI of 3 Tesla resolution. It's available in Nagpur, in Bhandara, MRI machine is 1.5 Tesla. I would like to know more about her problems. Does she feel locking even now? Does she feel instability? How did these problems start? Did she have any injury?
Health Tips
If it's meniscus tear, with time, it becomes less likely to be repairable. Meniscus is important structure in knee and acts as shock absorber between 2 bones of knee. If its ligament tear, knee becomes unstable. With injury to both Meniscus and ligaments, it's difficult to treat only with medicines and exercises. Delay in treatment causes inferior results. You have to take a call whether to get treatment on urgent basis or wait and watch till damages are not reversible. You must visit a specialist.
