My  husband mouth is not opening properly because of chewing tabbaco. He is not taking food properly. Please suggest what will do.

Hello, It could be a condition called OSMF or could be cause of wisdom tooth .. first step is slowly stop chewing tobacco.. little by little .. if u can text me i can chk thoroughly n will explain some exercises n the treatment protocol which includes some injections .

Get an OPG RADIO GRAPH to rule out other problems in mouth as well like Underlying dental infections in IIIrd molar areas .

Advise to quit the habit. Take:- •Cap SM Fibro once daily for 15 days •Do warm saline rinses •Mouth opening exercises by ice cream sticks between back teeth Diet modifications.Take:- •Green leafy vegetables •Tomatoes •Skimmed milk Apply Tumeric paste intraoral.

Hi..first n foremost he needs to slowly cut down on tobacco n eventually stop completely. It is a dangerous habit. From your description looks like he has developed OSMF. You will have to see a dentist locally to understand the severity of the condition and immediate management.
