Monster cavity

2024-05-09 14:57:02
Hello I am a patient who has been with a large cavity on a molar tooth for almost 7 years .No matter how much I brush I don't know how I got infected by cavity and some people who don't brush much and just brush for 1 min their tooth are healthy with no cavity but my tooth is of low quality I guess. So I thought of going to the dentist earlier but then got busy day by day and now it's been 7 years left untreated.Sometimes I can eat and chew food but sometimes I cannot chew because the food used to filled the cavity that pains a lot so what should I do in this case and extraction is better or root canal treatment help me in this what's best thank you

Your treatment depends on the extent of your caries which can be seen through x-ray, and also brushing for one minute or more or less than that does not affect caries.
Next Steps
Extraction or RCT
Health Tips
Salt gargle for relief from pain

Share your x ray and correlating it with clinical examination, only after that rct or extraction can be advised along side if any relevant findings in oral cavity.

Hello Firstly 2 minutes of brushing is compulsory for healthy teeth plus don’t do vigorous brushing. Follow proper technique. Secondly visit to the clinic and get your X-ray done which helps in the diagnosis and treatment plan.
