Hi I am 7 weeks pregnant as per ultrasound and 8 weeks as per LMP. Current beta hcg is 48000 Radiologist said I have mono twins in one gestation sac of 22 mm but heartbeat is not yet seen. Is it rare to have mono twins and is growth a little slow in that case ? I am very scared as it's first pregnancy in 7 years. Please provide some insights.

Please repeat your ultrasound after 10 days to look for heart beat. Discrepancy of 1 week is considered normal. You can consult online with reports for further details.

Having  twins in one sac has low incidence  than other types. Also associated  with certain  specific issues. Twin pregnancy  itself  is  associated  with  growth  related problem.Discuss with your doctor  clearly.
