My second molar have a mobility and also have cavity I am filling it when I chew food more force to may cause pain but after some time it automatically relief
Since your telling you have cavity then that might be reason for the mobility because if cavity is too big and if there is an abscess then you will have mobility
Get a x ray done to check the extent of caries and also apical infection present
If it's due to infection then mobility will subside after root canal treatment

You need to get an X-ray done if the tooth to check its condition. A cavity will require a filling but if it has involved the nerve it will require a root canal treatment. The cause of mobility should also be checked. Accordingly your dentist will advise you
