If the urine Pregnancy strip it is negative its unlikely that she is pregnant For confirmation you can go for the blood test She needs investigations to find out the reason for the less flow during her periods

You should get a beta HCG done for confirmation. If she has bleeding even for 1 day then you should get investigated for thyorid profile, prolactin levels and ultrasound to be done
