Missed folic acid in pregnancy

Hi , This was my unplanned pregnancy and also many a times i get my periods late. After 2 months i came to know i was pregnant and bit worried as I didn't take folic acid. Will my baby be normal as generally it's advice to take the folic acid during first trimester.

Don't worry. The research regarding the use of Folic acid in pre pregnancy stage is only  about 30 years old whereas babies have been born since a few million years. I am sure even your mother wouldn't have had Folic acid supplements when she was expecting you.
