My wife git missed miscarriage at 6.1weeks gestational sac, which method is preferred for termination : d&c or medical pills, local doc is insisting on d&c, does it has issues from anaesthesia and all...pls advice

Hi. Upto 7 weeks medical method can be tried under drs supervision. After 2 weeks of taking the pills a scan is mandatory. If any time during tt any problem arises immediately D& C  can be done .

I can go for  medical method as the pregnancy is of only 6 weeks, but if it fails you have to go for surgical procedure  D&C. This can be done under sedation  or short GA
