My wife git missed miscarriage at 6.1weeks gestational sac, which method is preferred for termination : d&c or medical pills, local doc is insisting on d&c, does it has issues from anaesthesia and all...pls advice

Termination is by both medical and surgical method and it’s your choice to opt for any method but there are certain criteria where the medical or surgical is advised.so think and discuss with your gynecologist thoroughly and then take decision

I can go for  medical method as the pregnancy is of only 6 weeks, but if it fails you have to go for surgical procedure  D&C. This can be done under sedation  or short GA

Hi. Upto 7 weeks medical method can be tried under drs supervision. After 2 weeks of taking the pills a scan is mandatory. If any time during tt any problem arises immediately D& C  can be done .
