At 36 weeks you are in safe zone. Your doctor must have advised you regarding NST and periodic Doppler study. You should only follow your Doctor's instructions. It may lead to increased incidence of Caesarean.

Regular monitoring with Doppler needs to be done if it is only a mild change as u said. And decision regarding further management depends on if it is improving or worsening on the follow up scans
