Memory loss

My 72 years old Grandmother is facing Memory loss problem since last 2 years & since last 3 months she has become little Aggressive in her behaviour . Sho we Took her to a Psychiatrist & Dr has prescribed these two tablets for 10 days . DONAMEM 10 mg TABLET, OLIMET 5mg TABLET. So Should I give this Tablet????

Hello, Yes you can give her the medication. Donamem is for dementia and olimelt is for aggressive behaviour. Olimelt will cause little sedation so better to be given at night for 72 yrs.

Hi it's will be more appropriate if you visit a neurologist for dementia and psychiatrist for behavioral management.  Multidisciplinary approach is best to manage this.

Yes definitely... You can go with the prescription. Is there any history of Diabetes or hypertension. Have you done any evaluation of Dementia ? They start the medication.
