Honestly, running will slowly accentuate your arthrosis. However, your meniscus grade 2 doesn’t mean it’s torn. It’s degenerative signal intensity change. If you really like running, you should get injected with vissco supplements in knee ( like Synvisc one). This will lubricator your joint and retard your arthrosis development. Second you should try and reduce weight if you are overweight. Diet is very important in weight reduction. Third is you should follow good rehab program to strengthen your core muscles including quadriceps, hamstring and gluteal muscles.
