Yes — that feeling of being "stuck in a loop" is a very typical part of depression. It is called rumination: the same negative thoughts circle again and again, energy and motivation drop, and that in turn feeds more negative thinking. It is not a character weakness and it is not permanent; it responds well to treatment. What genuinely helps is a combination of structured therapy (cognitive behavioural therapy is specifically designed to break this loop), a fixed daily routine with regular sleep and meals, daily physical activity, reduced alcohol and screen time at night, and medication when the depression is moderate or severe. Please do not try to fight it purely by willpower or self-medicate.
Next Steps
Please arrange a proper assessment with a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist rather than managing this alone; it is also worth checking haemoglobin, thyroid function and vitamin D/B12, as these can worsen low mood. If you ever have thoughts of harming yourself, treat it as an emergency and reach out to someone you trust or a helpline the same day. I am also happy to review you first on a Practo teleconsult or at Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Miraj (consultation fee Rs 100) and guide you to the right specialist.

You "think" that you are stuck in a Loop. Actually there is no Loop. So you need Psychiatric evaluation and further management. No physical treatment will help you.
