My wife delivered on 1st March 2023. Lump occured in breast and size is increasing but there is no pain. What is treatment for removal of lump in breast. Is it normal to occured in lactation women?

Hi practo user , There nothing to worry as such it might be galatocoel that normally occurs in lactating breast … if there is pain , redness or if it’s tender to touch … kindly visit a general or a plastic surgeon to get it examined … Hope this helps …

You need to visit a general surgeon so that they can do a clinical examination. And if need get a usg of the breast. Only after examination we can come to a diagnosis.

Lump appearing in a lactational breast can be an indication for upcoming abscess(pus) formation.. plz consult your nearby surgeon at the earliest.. extract milk if baby not breast feeding

Consult a general surgeon nearby as to rule out breast abscess or galactocele...it occurs in some  lactating mothers... nothing to worry... They will clear d fluid if present
