Lower Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Got Extraction->surgical extraction (horizontal or position c bony) done on 23rd Sep 2017.Maximum of the swelling got reduced but there is small swell /lump at the area where surgery happened.Is it common or any blood clot. Since yesterday night (28th sep 2017) i am having pain in the extracted area which is bearable but still not getting reduced even after taking pain killers.

position c is not horizontal ...they are not synonyms. kindly refrain from using technical language when you are not aware of the details. plz visit ur omf surgeon for review. some times swelling takes a little longer to go away especially if surgery has been complex or complicated. pain will subside with pain killers and if not then there is possibilyt of alveolitis or dry socket happening as well.

Usually it takes little time for the swelling to subside.if it won't come down in 2-3 days then visit ur dentist
