Lower back ache

2016-08-24 22:32:08
I am suffering from back ache since 3 months. At times it is a pinching pain rising below my shoulder bone till hip and thighs. Very hard to walk and get up at times. Earlier i thought it is just a strain, now i am concerned about it. Sometimes it circulates from my left back to right, whom should i consult.

You should consult your Physiotherapist. I suppose that manual therapy would actually help you. Regards Dr Deepak Kumar Relhan Senior Consultant Physiotherapist

There can be many causes of back pain, muscular, arthritis etc. From your description it seems more likely to be muscular back pain, but can't be sure unless someone has examined you and done some preliminary xrays. You should see an Orthopedic surgeon or a spine specialist. If its a muscular pain then it will settle down with exercises and physiotherapy.

Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.
