Low magnesium level or something else

Doctor, please help. I can't afford a consultation, so I'm seeking guidance here. My Vitamin D was 19 ng/mL earlier; after taking Uprise-D3 weekly, it is now above 60 ng/mL. My muscle pain and body aches have improved but still occur occasionally. Today's serum magnesium is 1.74 mg/dL. ( Range 1.9-3.1 mg/dL)Could this magnesium level be causing my remaining symptoms, and what should I do next? I'll be very grateful for your advice.

Your serum magnesium level of 1.74 mg/dL is slightly below the normal range.Mildly low magnesium can contribute to symptoms such as muscle cramps, muscle aches, twitching, fatigue, and weakness. However, it's important to remember that these symptoms can also have other causes, such as vitamin B12 deficiency, iron deficiency, thyroid disorders, inadequate protein intake, dehydration, or overexertion. As a nutritionist, I would recommend: ● Include magnesium-rich foods daily, such as pumpkin seeds, almonds, cashews, peanuts, sesame seeds, spinach, beans, lentils, whole grains, and dark chocolate (in moderation). ● Ensure you're getting adequate protein and staying well hydrated. ● If your symptoms continue, discuss with your physician whether a magnesium supplement is appropriate. Do not start supplements on your own. If the pain persists despite normal vitamin D levels, consider getting your vitamin B12, iron profile (including ferritin), thyroid function (TSH), and calcium checked if they haven't been evaluated recently.
