Low lying placenta week 16

Hi, I have low lying placenta, week 16 as of today, and my placenta is almost close to internal os. What are the chances of it shifting up and when. Also, due to bed rest, I am constipated and worried my constipation can cause problems to the placenta, I have already had a bleeding incident once last week.

Hi In most of the women Placenta shifts to normal position by 32weeks. This would be checked by repeat scans. Regarding your Constipation please try fiber rich food. Minimal walk can be done. Just avoid exertional activities like coitus, lifting heavy weight, etc. What is your blood group? If negative you will need anti D injection
