Low lying placenta - need advise

2025-06-21 12:27:19
Hi Doctors - I am 13 weeks pregnant. During my NT scan, my placenta is noted as posterior, low lying, lower end 1.1 cm away from internal os. While my doc advised me some precautions, it was not specific. She is not reachable now. Could you please advise me what precautions I need to take ? I slowly walk around 1-2 kms daily in park, do I need to stop that and it's a complete bed rest now. I will be grateful for any medical inputs.

Nothing to worry if you don't have any bleeding so far and the placenta is posterior..it's just 13 weeks now it will migrate to upper segment as the pregnancy  progresses. No need of bed rest .Just avoid vigorous physical activities.
