Low HDL Cholestrol

Hi my HDLCholestrol is low at 39 (Method : Direct Enzymatic) please suggest the risk and what can be done for the same. Thanks and Regards, Likhith N J

HDL is a good cholesterol and it should be more than 60 .Unfortunately there are no drugs to increase it. The only way is regular physical exercise. You are only 22 so it will be best for you to adopt this healthy habit . Best luck

The values usually have a range. Normal is above 45units. Risk may include heart problems. Regularly use 1tsp of melted ghee in ur diet in morning. Ghee will NOT increase cholesterol if taken in morning diet in melted form.
