Low grade fever with cheek swelling

My son 6 years old having low grade fever since yesterday, while we observed his cheek swelling and also inside mouth found gum erection. We suspect this may be problem for his low grade fever , can we get treatment suggestions.

If the child is feeding, sleeping and is feeling comfortable then no need to worry. just give paracetamol syrup if he is having fever more than 100 f.
