Low grade fever in afternoon/evening

2022-07-17 17:27:46
I have been having a low grade fever (Max temp. 100 F) since the last 7 days which only appears in the afternoon/evening. In the morning, the temperature is back to normal. CBC shows lymphocytes at 50%, CRP is 12.27 and LFT tests shows mildly elevated SGPT & SGOT of 75 & 71. Malaria, Dengue, Typhoid tests are negative. What could be the reason?

I completely understand your concern. To diagnose your problem completely, I would need more information as well as some general tests and a primary family history. Your routine and other habits will also need to be known, so for the treatment of this problem, once consultation can be done through phone or video call, it is better.

It could be tuberculosis. There is an evening rise of temperature in tuberculosis plus the there is lymphocytic predominance. Is there any other symptom? Get Sputum for AFB and CBNAAT done. Consult for apt management.
