Hi doctor My daughter is 6 and half months old , started giving solid rice and carrot,she is passing loose motion since 2 days 6 to 7 times in a day,please suggest some medicine and dosage too Current weight is 7.3kg .

Plz take her to a pediatrician asap ma. Do not take any risk in case of infants with loose stools. They pass large quantities of water,glucose and minerals in loose stools which can lead to severe dehydration.

Jus see if she's passing urine 5 times/day if so don't worry Give ors (Small sachets mix in 200 ml and give 80 ml every time she passes loose stool Z and d drops 0.5ml once daily for 10 days Next time u give carrots pls mash well Breast feed as much as u can
