Hi, My husband is suffering from continuous loose motion form one week but he is not having any stomach pain and all kindly let me knw the reason for it. He is having a 4.6mm Galblader stone and doctor adviced for planned surgery is it because of it r any other issue. Awaiting for your valuable feedback

A small gallbladder stone usually does not cause loose motions. Diarrhea for 1 week can occur due to a stomach infection, food-related causes, medications, or other intestinal problems. Ensure adequate fluids and ORS to prevent dehydration. If symptoms persist beyond a few days, or if there is fever, blood in stools, weakness, or reduced urine output. Loose motions is associated with vomiting? Or fever ? If no only hydration and little probiotics will do the needful Coming to the gall bladder stone it should be removed via planned surgery . It is not an emergency
