Teeth alignment is done by orthodontist who are braces specialist.Now the equipments and set up for it charges the orthodontist higher than general dentist and moreover the treatment is lengthy ie minimum of 1 year.Thats why the cost is higher than what charged by general dentist.And also it varies from place to place.Higher in metropolitan cities than the inner areas.
