Lip twitching in pregnancy

I have been experiencing lip twitching since the beginning of second month of my pregnancy. Since I have been having folic acid for a while now , my doc said it's not because of a deficiency most probably and has asked me to observe it for next few days and report back . Is it normal though? My first US at 6 was was ok.
