Lever abscess.

I have lever abscess on right side of lever first it diagnosed 72ml after 5 days of treatment it size is 22ml again after 10 days of treatment it’s size is reduce only1 ml now it’s size 21ml, now I want to consult with dr Praveen sharma gastroenterologist Sgrh, Delhi. Please suggest.

Hi dear, any liver abscess less than 5 cms in diameter should be managed conservatively , which is being done in your case. Wee need to check Amoebic Serology test. And if it's positive then you need to take anti trphozidal medicines for 20 days.
