Lesions after rct

2018-08-04 12:22:31
I have had my rct done 1.5 months back. And  even after multiple sittings my lesions are just the same as they were before the rct. Is this a sign of failed root canal? I am attaching the xray reports of my tooth before any treatment.

Hello, Any lesion will take time to heal around 3 to 6 months. And if you think something is wrong you can consult a dentist get x ray done and proceed with the treatment.

You got root canal done only 1.5 months back..entire healing of lesion takes atleast 6 months..don't worry..if your don't have pain and swelling, then the root canal treatment can be considered as success

Lesions take time as the bone has to heal . Your pre op X-ray should be compared to an X-ray taken 6-8 months after treatment. Only then one can say if treatment is successful.
