Better to consult with a Neurologist or Orthopaedic Surgeon. You must have seen that all the answers posted so far have a different diagnosis. Tele-consultation is not easy as a first line of treatment.

It can be disc related issue which is causing a nerve compression in the lower limb.. let her visit a neurologist nearby for examination ok.
