Continue muscle strengthening and work on the physio. The results take quite some time to be obvious. As long as your symptoms are getting better do not rely completely on MRI, as the MRI picture takes some time to catch up with the clinical picture. Gels or other medicines will only help with pain but not healing on the tendon. You need to give it time and be patient.

Hello there,,,,,well 4 years is a long time for any tendinopathy/tendinitis to give problems...at the max the problem should be resolved in 6 months to 9 months...it means you are not on the right rehabilitation path or you are not following instructions of your ortho/physio or straining your shoulder.

history regarding the pain,which movenmts cause it, does it pain in the night?,,,needs to be known.
