Mri left knee impressions are 1) increased signal intensity in the ACL with suggestion of near total intra substance tear,i involving its mild part proximal retraction of fibers in the inter candilar fossa
2) moderate joint effusion extending in to the suprapatellar Bursa.
3)increased pd/sdir signal intensity involving the lateral femoral condyle and posters lateral tibial platue - s/o contusion
4) mild bulking of the pcl
5) mild inter and intra muscular edema

⢠Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area
⢠Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).
⢠Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment in which knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.
