Kshar Sutra- Fistula

2023-12-22 10:24:10
How do I know if Fistula is cured? I had a kshar-sutra placed back in April and the last thread removed  in August. The wound has completely healed and even though there was a slight pus discharge until November but it's no longer there. However, I still feel some pain in the surgery area when I press it or sit down for longer hours. I have read a lot about fistula reccurence and can't go through all that pain and trauma again. Is there a way to know If my Fistula has completely cured or not? Is there a test that can be taken? Also, apart from maintaining a healthy diet what other measures can I take to make sure this doesn't happen again?

As u are feeling pain and discomfort on prolonged sitting,ur fistula might not be healed. If pus is coming out there must be hole inside. An expert can do MRI to find out the tract left  un healed.Fistula is notorious for its  recurrence.
