This swelling occurs post surgery. The tissues should repair and this is a mechamism to get it done.  Also there is a good amount of muscle wasting that has occured because of non usage of the muscles of your knee. Better to do quadriceps strenthening exercises and Ankle toe pumps to increase the blood supply in the affected area.
Next Steps
allly ice pack at regular interval. do the exercises raught by a good physiotherapist regularly.this will surely help u further.
Health Tips
it'll take around 3 months to heal completely.so follow the proper protocol to get healed properly.

Hi! it is normal to have a bit swelling after surgery. Don't worry follow your surgeon's instructions and do your exercises as advised by your physio. You put ice. Be patient it will take graded protocol

It's normal , by the way you can do some flexibility training for quardiceps at it's origin side ( no knee movement only hip movement like flexion and extension in side lying position ). Also you can do some massage like draining spasm towards thigh , before icing .
Next Steps
follow rehabilitation program
Health Tips
keep leg in slightly elevated position so that gravity assist in drainage.
