We are planning for knee surgery for Mom , as the cartilage is almost gone in knees . One query is that she has swelling in the legs. And we have done with other tests like ecg , 2d echo and the tests are normal. So in this case, as there is swelling in legs , does knee replacement surgery will have any issues ? Or is the swelling in legs could also be due to the knee cartilage worn out problem . We haven't done the venous Doppler Test so far. Please suggest ....
