Knee pain issue
Hello Doctor,
My Dad has been suffering from Knee joint pain for the last few months, he has used few painkillers and a knee cap as per the prescription but now the pain has gone to another level and he is feeling terrible pain.
Had taken an XRay today as per doctor's advice and is attached here for your reference.
Could you help me understand if the problem can be cured with medicines or anything else that you would suggest.

Hello, your father has grade 3 (KL) Osteoarthritis of right knee joint. Although it's difficult to suggest any treatment unless we know his age,clinical findings and if this xray has been taken in standing position. The pain can subside by physiotherapy, medicines and activity modification. However, long term painkillers would harm other organs.
