I have slight pain in both the knees whlie bending or climbing stairs.
I hve statred doing knee exercise for the same.
I hve a habit of walking for 45 mins ( two times ie 1.5 hours) in a day.
I dont feel any pain or discomfort while walking.
Is it safe for my knees if i walk for 1.5 hours in a day?

U need to do specific Muscle Strengthening which supports your Knee and physiotherapy will deal with this .
Nothing major,u can cont your walking, cycling will be better than walking.

Walking is always good.
Please follow a few other things as well:
Don't walk on hard or concrete surface.
Don't walk up and down the stairs.
Wear properly padded soft shoes.
Don't sit cross-legged on the floor or use a Indian toilet.
