My father facing stomachache due to two kidney stones (18mm, 11mm). Is there any chance to remove this stones by medicine or should we go for operation? Is it good time for operation in this covid condition or should we need to wait for some time ? & How much we can wait? Is there any food restrictions & what food will be good for this conditions? Hello. For this size Medicines would not be effective in stone removal. If your father has severe pain, vomiting, fever there might be obstruction and he might need a DJ stent( which is emergency). Food restrictions at this stage might not be helpful.
Next Steps
CT scan to see for hydronephrosis
