IUCD are one of the the oldest and effective methods of contraception ..
they are to be inserted by Gynaecologist ...The insertion is not painful and it takes hardly 2 to 3 minutes ...
ONE of most common IUCD available is multiload or copper IUCD which usually has a life of 5 years ...
the second one is the Merina or the hormonal thing ..it is costly ..the life is 5 years but failure rates are less..Over a period of time it controls heavy bleeding , reduces size of fibroids etc..
