Itching and burning in labia area
I have itching and burning sensation in my externa private parts for quite some time. There is dry rough skin as well. Itching and burning in the vulvar area.
Please help.

Itching, burning, and dry rough skin in the vulvar area (without discharge) is most likely vulvar dermatitis, contact dermatitis, or lichen simplex chronicus â caused by irritants, friction, or skin sensitivity. Less commonly, lichen sclerosus (a chronic skin condition) can cause these symptoms, especially if the skin looks white or thin. Fungal infection is possible if there is also discharge.

Apply Hydrocortisone 1% cream to the affected area once daily for 5-7 days. Use only plain water or a fragrance-free intimate wash â avoid soaps and scented products. Wear loose cotton underwear.
