Irregular periods first time

I got my periods delayed by 20 days this first time happened with me and I have also tested but it came out negative pregnancy by kit can anyone suggest why this happened?

Please consult a Gynaecologist for further management including withdrawal bleeding. If this becomes a recurring problem then you will have to get your sonomammography and hormones assay done.
