My mother age 47 had undergone uterus removal due to adenomyosis of uterus , after 3 Months of surgery she was facing anxiety issues insomnia and excessive negative thoughts , I took her to psychiatrist and she is on medicines for more than a month now , today she missed her appointment and her medicines were over and she was unable to sleep , why does this happen how long she had to be dependent on these medicines for sleep or anxiety , does this happen after any surgery or due to menopause or something what can be the cause of this. Apart from this she doesn't have any other symptoms

You should also consult with the Gynaecologist who operated on her. He will tell you about the extent of surgery that has been done and also if she needs some long term treatment after surgery.
