From childhood I used to find it difficult to fall asleep. The problem is getting worse with time. There are several days when I could not sleep even for a single minute at night. Its very painful to stay awake whole night and then go to work the next day. What should I do?

I would recommend that you go and get yourself checked out by a psychiatrist and if required by a neurologist also.
A full workup will be needed for your case to know what's the exact problem only then it can be treated.
