Inflamed vein on hand

I was admit in hospital and catheter was inserted in hand vein. But it is still inflamed after 20 days and after applying Thrombophob. It pains only when touched. I am fearing Deep Vein Thrombosis. I am applying Thrombophob daily. Please guide ..pic attached.
