My son is 3 months old. He is passing motion 4 to 5 times during the day and nights. He have cold from 4 days. We have consulted the pediatrician for this condition and mandatory vaccination. He was vaccinated on 20th Jan. The doctor has informed us to use the nasal drops for cold and has not prescribed anything for motions.  Kindly advise us on this.

Passing normal motion even 6 timesfor a 3month baby is normal. Just keep a watch that motion is not loose or watery, when he needs to be given medicine if required .

If child has watery stools then it’s diarrhoea, but for this just give breast milk , no need to give anything else, just see if child have any danger signs like decreased urine output, sunken eyes, lethargy, dry mouth, irritability
