Hello, Wisdom teeth can cause recurrent pain in the mouth and the adjacent areas like neck ear also. The only way to know whether the tooth erupting is going to erupt completely and in right position or not is to get an x-ray done check the current position of the tooth in bone. If the tooth position is upright and there is enough space in your mouth for its eruption (which can only be assessed by a dentist by checking in mouth) then the pain can be controlled by medicines. But if the angulation of the tooth inside the bone is not proper then it’s best to get it removed (extracted) rather than suffering pain every other month as it is never going to be symptomless. So you need to get an appointment with your dentist and get an x-ray done. Regards Dr. ILA Yadav MDS Prosthodontics (Implantologist)

U need to look at a radiograph to know weather the tooth is in correct path or hindering to bone or gums or adjacent tooth . Pain during eruption is common but its always better to get it checked on radiograph . OPG - helps get u a clear picture off all the teeth at once.
