Immature follicles

I m 36 yrs old female married, no child ( On Planned) I underwent usg abdomen the report is " Both ovaries are upper limit of normal in size with few immature follicles arranged pheripherally " Mild Variant of Bilateral Poly Cystic Ovarian Changes. Right ovary 38*27*21 mm ( volume 12cc). Follicle size 18*10mm Left Ovary 32*23*23mm (volume 9cc). Follicles measures 19*10mm. Kindly suggest Is this a sign of Ovarian Cancer ???

Don’t panic.its not ovarian cancer .but you have polycystic ovary and will need more clarity on your history to be helpful

No , not ca ovary it's pcod. Can be due to hyperprolactinemia, hypothyroidism,

pcos or polycystic ovaries is not a sign of ovarian cancer.Its a genetic disorder aggravated by sedentarylifestyle and improper dietary habits

Hi You have PCOD appearance of the ovary . Mostly you have dominant follicle in either ovary . This is not alarming and can be seen sometimes . More important is to know if you are having regular periods . Having PCoD sometimes can end you up with delayed periods sometimes upto a year or so . It is very crucial to have one period at least every 3-4 months to keep your lining of womb healthy and safe .
