Your weight loss is genuinely harder with PCOS because of the insulin resistance that usually comes with it. Slow progress with diet and walking isn't a failure on your part. The leg and hip pain that stops you mid-walk isn't typical PCOS though. It could come from your joints, posture, or low vitamin D and iron levels instead.
Next Steps
Switch to lower-impact movement like swimming or cycling until the pain is checked. Ask for an orthopaedic or physiotherapy opinion alongside your PCOS review. A fasting insulin, vitamin D and iron panel are worth asking for too.
Health Tips
If this clinic keeps feeling rushed, please see another gynaecologist for a full PCOS review. You deserve one.
